Female is a male!

So I bought a pastel from a guy which he told me was a female. I left her alone for the last week to settle. So today I popped her to make sure and sure enough she was a he. Only good thing is that the spider that I bought as a male I'm pretty sure is a female. These are the only two snakes I've popped but I tried a few times on the spider and can't get any hemipenes. I'm pretty sure I see the white scent glans. I'm going to get someone more experienced to pop him/her though.

Nah I got it from a guy on kijiji. I text the guy, he said he really thought it was a female and offered to give my money back.

Dont count on seeing your money again until its in your hands. Been there, done that lol

Could it be that you're not popping correctly? To have 2 snakes be the wrong sex on your first attempts at popping sounds like it could be a real possibility.

I'm pretty sure I see the white scent glans. I'm going to get someone more experienced to pop him/her though.

That's the one thing that sucks when you get snakes from people other than breeders if you aren't well versed in popping. I pop every snake I get right away whether it's from a breeder or not.
