Air Mouse
I went to feed Fang today took out his water dish and half log to give him more room to attack his prey. I do this because Fang got injured the last time everything was in there. Any way as I watch him stalk this mouse and he creeps up on it as usual to make sure the mouse is calm right before he strikes the mouse jumps over him and when I say jumps I mean Air Jordan hang time over to the other side of the tank. After 10 min. of him playing hop scotch and one time drop kicking Fang ( Fang was stretched up in the air straight on the other side of tank not looking at him and the mouse jumped straight up towards Fang and kicked him into the side of the tank) . After that I said to my wife this mouse is to aggressive and understood he was food so I had to pre-kill him for Fang. Now I couldn't hit him with a Hammer or slam him into a wall tried but couldnt. So I choked the mouse out and Fang ate him after I put him in the tank and gave it a wiggle with the tongs. I know choking a mouse is in humane is there any other ways this can be done without the co2 enclosure.

This isn't recommended, because if they come out of that daze before your snake kills it they can go nuts and hurt your snake. There really is no way to make feeding live completely safe. It can be done you just need to keep a close eye on the entire process.

my snakes are good eaters all the time so i dont realy do it all the time but when i do my snakes wrap the mouse before it starts moving again and i always keep an eye on them or take them out if they dont go for the mouse in 5 mins or so

Re: Air Mouse
A stunned mouse more then likely awakes very frightened and will be very aggressive. I do NOT stun the mice. I put them in the tubs with my snakes and I stand by watching very closely to make sure nothing bad happens.
