not stating that they ARE rodents.

I had a couple ferrets once and they played rough and were quick little suckers. I wouldn't trust one around a snake (nor are my dogs allowed in the reptile rooms.)

    Gorgeous black pastel though!

I don't think he was referring to your post.
He was responding to Mason I believe.....

But yes. You are correct that there are potential dangers. I'm not going to argue that.... He is restraining the ferret down in the picture for a reason after all..... Not like it was free with the snake.

    Re: My Noodle

OK so to put this to rest.

I was a bit angry at the reply to me. Not only that but a negative rep message calling me ignorant. I get fired up anytime someone calls me ignorant because I am not. Being called ignorant is an insult to me. Ignorant means that I've been given the knowledge, but choose to ignore it. In reality, I just simply don't have experience with ferrets other than other peoples houses and at pet stores. So it took some time for me to reply in what I thought a civil manner.

So since that word was used in both the public reply and the rep message I interpreted it as anger towards me.

If words like "I am sorry but you don't know what you are talking about. Let me explain to you how it really is..." were used I probably wouldn't have assumed the anger and probably wouldn't have gotten angry myself.

So, I am fine now. I hope you are as well.

lol i hate cats and ferrets. From my personal experience they both smell bad to me... Dogs smell to me too, but it doesnt bother me too much.
My only concern with ferrets is ive seen them open drawers before sooo if you have a rack they can probably open it and get to your snake. But as long as you responsibly and safely own both pets youll be fine

Exactly why my rack has a door. They certainly can open drawers.
