Not that it makes any difference. If you choose to obtain a new snakes it might be wise to either wait until you can travel to a show or spend the extra money and order from a reputable breeder.

I am glad you thought to sterilize everything.

I know your friend meant well, getting you another one, but I wish he/she had waited. You need time to grieve for your little one.

I know right now it's going to be very hard to care for this one. Each time you see it, it will only remind you of the one you lost. Try your best to provide it good care, and with time you will find yourself becoming attached, even though you didn't mean to, and certainly didn't think you would.

Nothing can take the place of the baby you lost, and don't let anyone tell you it will. But with time and patience, you can learn to love another. Not as much as your first, but the love will be there all the same. Don't expect it to happen in a day, a week, or even a month. But one day, before you even realize it's has happened, you'll discover it doesn't hurt so bad when you think of the one you lost. And then you will discover, you really do love the new one, even if you can't figure out when that happened.
