Ok well, People with way more experience have proved that the Champagne X Spider thing do not work. I am not a geneticist so I'm not even going to attempt that.
I watched the videos, They were semi informative.. I guess I am looking for a How/Why
But NERD has proved that sometimes the reasons can be overloaded with gene's and beaten, While the video didn't answer if there were long term effects, I can live with the it CAN happen.
If I take a say a
Lesser X Champagne
And Produce a
Champagne Lesser
then breed that to a Lesser Bee
And back to a Spider what are the chances of or is it just bad news to do anything with a Champagne back to anything with the spider gene ??
I know there are people with way more knowledge here then me this is why I am asking
1.0 Normal (Diablo)
1.0 Platinum Lesser (Aurora)
1.0 Russian Blue Cat (Magnum)
0.1 House Cat (Porsche)
1.0 Australian Cattle Dog (Diesel)
0.1 Yorky (Mercedes)
2.0 Kids (Matt & Leland)
0.1 Wife (Jennifer)
No The wife and Kids do not conform to the Automotive type Names haha All Lessers are equal, but I got the pretty one

Just wanted to weigh in on the wobble comment. I have a male spider that has the most extreme wobble ever. He literally knots himself up. Although he is doing well he is about two years old and only 300g. He has troubles eating. Now I also have a lesser bee and he has a very slight wobble. Just because there is a chance of wobble does not mean I will stop working with the gene.
Also if you have the money for a female champagne why buy her pieds? The price of pieds has dropped and I've seen them going for 600-800. Unless you plan on breeding a male visual to all your hets.

The Champagne is for my Lesser if I decide to go that way.I also like the Lesser Crystal or even going with a Pinstripe and producing Kingpins

Wife and I picked up a spider female not long ago and haven't noticed a wobble. But I'm not sure if outta something they have immediately our if it can develop. And I was looking into the spiderx champagne combo as well. If that combo is lethal, there goes any distant future plans for me.

I would assume that you would get a variety of healthy offspring, but any that inherited both the champagne and spider genes would perish.
