    Strange male leo behavior

So, we are fairly new to leopard geckos. Picked up one for a pet for our daughter. Wound up with two more we rescued. One male, two females. They are all in a 20 gallon tank together. We figured it they breed, that would be fine. I don't know what to expect if they do behavior wise. They have 2 regular hides, and one humid. Earlier I saw one female climb on top of the male. Then about 20 minutes later went back in to see what they were up to, and saw my male licking himself. Had they been doing something? Or is that normal for a male Leo?

Really, the only time I have seen one of my males licking himself is after breeding. But a female doesn't lay on top of the male, its vice versa

Yes it's normal. Males will clean themselves after breeding.

It seemed as if she was trying to say "helloooo, I'm right here dummy". Reminded me of when a female dog is ready and trying to show the male what to do. Only not that aggressivly. She just climbed on top of him and he tried to walk away. So if he was licking, they probably bred? Thanks! :-). Now we wait for eggs......

IMHO I'd add a few more hides, at least one non-humid per occupant, and probably take the male out after a bit here. 20g Long is really better suited to 2 geckos long term and even if they've lived this way for a while, there is really no need to stress them for their whole lives. But yes, probably was something going on there!
Mostly Leos and Cresties, but also
1.0 Human (wild caught next door, but taming nicely)
