Do any morphs tend to be pickier eaters than others???

My pastel is verry picky, some days he wants to be on the carpet and me dangle the mouse in front of him ,other days he just wants it to be dead, then sometimes he will only eat it if make it tottaly dark in living room

My normal will only eat in the dark.

My spider scares me when he's hungry. Last week he crawled over the edge of the tub and fell 2 feet on the floor before I could even pick the mouse up with the tongs. Switched him from live rat crawlers since hatch (3 mo) to F/T mice on the first attempted feeding. He eats 2 in a row every time and his feeding response is only slightly weaker for the second mouse.


The only things I've gathered from these threads is that spiders eat well. I'm theorizing that this is due to them being mentally challenged. All of the residual stress of feeding and ambush instincts seem to be reduced.

Also, that Albinos seem to be picky. I know vision doesn't play a big role in BP hunting but maybe it's hindered enough in some albinos for them to be finicky and overly nervous when they're feeding.

I have little basis for either of those judgements, just throwing that out there based on the high number of responses about spiders and albinos on these threads.

Right now my BCI is slithering around his condo, leering at and "tracking" my big Ibizan Hound, Pookie.

He's "hungry" and is doing this to fake me out and make me feed him before it's time.

I wish he understood that over feeding him will adversely affect his health.
All he thinks about is eating, though.
