She was married to a man she met at her work. He at first pretended to be a family man, nice, etc. After she married him, he turned into a verbally abusive man. He would purposely try to start fights between her and I. So, she divorced him.

She divorced my father because he flat out told her he no longer loved her, plus he was mentally and physically abusive. Along with being a rapid cycling manic depressive.

Sorry to hear that. Life sucks. But you have proved nothing about the future of hers or any other relationship. The are all ephemeral and no one knows what the future holds.

..My grandparents were married for 51 years. That's not shortlasting.

However, trying to convince you otherwise is pointless, seeing that you've already admitted to being a man who's only interested in one night stands.
