I'd shoot for the Super Pastel
~Aaron
0.1 Pastel 100% Het Clown Ball Python (Hestia)
1.0 Coastal/Jungle Carpet Python (Shagrath)
0.1 Dumeril's Boa (Nergal)
0.1 Bearded Dragon (Gaius)
1.0 Siberian Husky (Picard)
0.1 German Shepherd/Lab Mix (Jadzia)

Me personally I'd go for a pewter. But I like the cinny stuff. I think depending on what you'd like to do in the future either is a good choice.

Cinny. Breeding a pewter to normal gives you normals, pastels, cinnys and pewters. Love the variety. Super pastels will just give you pastels.

I'll never understand this question Ask yourself, which one do I like the look of better?, Which one will give me the most variety?, what do I want to make? Answer these questions and you have your answer. If you wanted to get a car would you let someone else pick it for you or would you get the car that you like?

Of course you wouldn't let someone else pick it for you, but you always want to bring someone along who can give you their opinions

That may be true but you won't get any normals in a super pastel x whatever breeding so there are advantages either way.
If you do go the Pewter route, I personally would shoot for Black Pewters (Black Pastel x Pastel)

If i were you i would save up the extra cash for a double gene male. A super pastel male or pewter male would be the way to go imo. If you get a super then your odds are 50/50 super pastel and regular pastel, no normals. If you breed the pewter to them you can get cinnies, pastels, super pastels and pewters...
Ive seen super pastel males for as low as $350-$400 at shows.

Pewter X pastel will produce normals, pastels, super pastels, cinnies, pewters, and sterlings. I'd definitely go with the pewter.
Nevermind. I just re-read the post. Punctuation works wonders.lol. I'd still go with Pewter stuff.
