I use te one from Reptile basics that was $50. It has a yellow handle. Idk what the model is, i can look when i get home from work. But so far it works flawlessly.

It's a great temp gun. The first one I owned back in the day was a Craftsman model I picked up at Sears. It used these weird hearing aid batteries and was what I call a 'one shot temp gun'. I had to push the button for every temp reading. With my 412 I can just hold the trigger down and it continuosly reads what ever I point it at. Plus, it uses the same AAA batteries as several other things I have around the house.

Yea i really like it too. The use of AAA batteries is very convenient. Idk if i would buy a gun that uses hearing aid batteries...
