My friend has offered a jar to his BP full of water, something similar to an apple sauce jar. often I see the entire snake sitting in the jar with nothing more than his head poking out. I thought this might be common of BP's.

Also for humidity, should i cover the screen lid to my tank?

I only use a exoterra desert UTH and a 60w lightbulb for lighting and heating. The light bulb is to keep a "day" and "night" going and also to increase the temperature slightly

(I live in a cold house so at night all of my critters get cold, I have a Leopard gecko, a crested gecko and now a ball python) any tips for a cold house would also be appreciated
