I have a designated cup to put them in the refrigerator overnight, and then I have a designated pot that I use to warm them in. I warm up some water on the stove and put the rat in just to warm it, 'cause it's already been thawed in the fridge. Oh yeah, I also do put them into ziplocs first. Kind of freaks my guests out when I say "help yourself to a drink!" and there's dead rat sitting there on the shelf next to my eggs, but I don't mind it a bit.
