take apart the light, unwire it, drill a small hole, rewire the light in the cage. this way you don't have a giant hole in your cage and you can hide your mounting.

You could also use a super plug, a plug that connects to the cord after you pull it through.

there would still need to be a giant hole then. if you unwire it, you can get away with a small hole.
Leah is right. I have lights on most of my cages and they aren't even plugged in anymore.

No, you cut the original plug off, run the wire through a tiny hole and snap a new plug replacement thingy (yes, that is the technical term!) on, works great. You can get a new plug for about a dollar at the hardware store.

oh yeah those thingys! forgot about those. come with heat pannels.
