    Air Travel with reptiles

Any of yall know if one can bring a small reptile on a plane as carry on (one way)? I am going to visit my friend in KS in a month (haven't gotten the tix yet) and want to give her a baby crested or two. If it costs a lot or is a huge deal tho I'll just ship them later.
    Thanks (:

    Probably better to ship them.

Don't even think about it. You get caught, you're in a load of trouble and you'll have contributed another unwanted headline to the hobby. Just ship it to her via the appropriate channels.

I don't think they were suggesting sneaking reptiles onto a plane. I believe they were legitimately asking if it is possible/allowed with any airlines. The answer is no. Delta I believe is the most lenient with pets, but you are still limited to cats, dogs, and some birds, as well as number and size. Shipping would be easier, at least in that it is allowed through the proper channels and methods.

LOL gecko mule. XD I meant informing the airline well in advance and doing whatever procedures required.

Thank you. Its not a big deal I just thought I'd ask. I searched around a good bit online and some people on yahoo answers stated they've traveled with herps but it seemed kind of hinky. I knew you guys would know for sure. Thanks again. (:
