Qualities that make a good lesser

Planning on getting a lesser to add to our collection and eventually breed. I know it ultimately comes down to personal opinion, but I'm wondering what types of things people look for when choosing the 'best' lesser...and possibly pictures great looking lessers that people have? Thanks in advance

PS. I looked around on the forums a bit but I'll admit I'm not too good with the search function sometimes, so if this has been asked before I apologize.

Contrast is the big thing for me...then there's clean pattern, no eyes in the alien heads is good, and reduced pattern is always a big plus for me.

It's all in what you like. Some people like a lesser that is very creamy and faded while others like one with high contrast that has brighter yellows and darker pattern. The color is up to you.

The pattern is best with higher white sides, lots of flames, connecting alien heads are awesome, the less spots the better, and those hooks and eyelets add character. Many have the letter "r" in their pattern somewhere. That's what I mean by hooks.

From what I like so far, is the high white sides, really faded colors and reduced pattern.
I really like the ones with pretty much hearts running all the way down their sides with big gaps between them. With almost no dots.

i go both ways on the color, i like the colorless ones that are more tanish than yellow, but i also like ones with good yellows, either way though, it must have good flames, blushing on the back, no bands, and no spots in the alien heads

This is my male/female pair. The picture was taken almost a year ago, but they're not too much darker now. I like them both equally and can't decide which is better. The male on the left is pretty bright and highly contrasted, while the female has a cleaner pattern and is more "buttery".

And this is the male next to my male butter:

As others have said, what makes a "good" example is often personal preference and what traits you personally think are attractive. I'm also of the "high contrast, light colored, reduced pattern, as few alien heads as possible" opinion.

If you like the lessers, you should also take a look at butters. Some will argue that they're the same morph. I'm of the opinion that they are slightly different in color and didn't realize that I prefer butters until I saw them both in person. I found this girl a couple weeks ago. She's MY ideal butter, but you can probably find similar looking lessers if that's what you like better.
