I kind of got the feeling you thought I was downplaying your success because you went to a smaller school, which I am not at all I've played against every level of baseball there is (in terms of college ball). Theres good juco teams and really crappy ones, just like there are really good D3, 2, and 1 teams and really REALLY crappy ones. Thats why junior college teams can hang with D1 teams when they play them pre season, but would be a completely different story if it was football, etc.
I got what you said. When ever a NCAA school Moves up or down their restricted from Championship games beside Division Championships. Why I dont know but schools dont move up or down much.

Reason most JR Colleges are Good is thats where all the HS Draft Picks go, cause then they can be re drafted in 2 years rather end of College. Helps them get more work and a better Draft Pick with possible higher signing Bonus. We faced 2 good Jrs and they whipped our butts both games. Entire starting 9 were in the top draft picks of 2008.
