swallowing the worm

My adult normal female did something weird the other day when I fed her. Gave her a f/t med. rat off the tongs and when she struck and coiled, her squeeze was so hard the rats tail came off. Well, after she ate the rat I was planning on removing the dismembered appendage when she started to smell it and swallowed it like pasta. Has anyone seen this before with any type of snake?

Agnes routinely explodes her rats, slurps up the guts like spaghetti....and then smacks her lips in obvious delight.
