Price Question

Hey guys,

So I wanted to start making BEL's. I picked up a Male Lesser juvy for really cheap the other day. I started contacting some of the people i buy snakes off of and I found a 1 1/2 year old mojave female for $600. My question to you guys, is this a good deal? Or should I hold out?

What's her weight...at that age, I'd guess between 800-1200 grams, so if it's a nice mojave, $600 would be a great deal.

she's sitting at 700 right now.

its gorgeous. The colour retention is amazing. I don't think i've ever seen a sub adult with that colour.

If she looks that good, and is eating well, then I wouldn't hesitate for a second. Just make sure she's a she!!

Then as long as everything checks out, you should go for it if a female mojo is what you really want. You may be able to find a better deal, but if you think it's an exceptionally nice snake, why hold out?

good point. She is a little higher in price than i thought she would be but she is a decent size and stunning.. Now i gotta convince the wife. LOL

I say it depends...if youre only looking to make BELs,i would hold out for a better deal...theyre definately out there!
If you wanna use the female for other combos besides BEL i would spend the money for the exceptional female youre looking into.

LOL good point, but my other is seriously running out of forgiveness fast.

I would be putting her in with other stuff in the future, i love the morph and she is one of the nicest I have seen. The reason I am doing a Lesser x Mojo pairing is because I would like to make both mojo's and lessors in addition to my BEL's - eventually I will throw the BEL in with some other stuff but I would like to have two different genes in the animal, to keep things interesting when I pair it LOL.

If you can get the wifey to go for it and you have the funds I would get her. If she is as exceptional as you say you can't go wrong.
