If I were looking for a sub-adult Black Pastel I would definitely consider purchasing that animal and I would not suspect her to be a misrepresented normal.

Nobody is calling anyone's integrity into question here. The OP never even said where they got the snake. For all we know it was purchased on Craigslist from somebody who got it at a pet store.

With that said, it doesn't look like a black pastel to me, either.
