A good sized lesser would be too expensive for me, and I can't find any good sized cinnamons either.

Have you seen the ghost black pastels? (hypomelanistic black pastel) Those guys look amazing! Also another good combo is with a mojave. You can make some "black magic". I really love the darker morph combo's. The black pastel is a very underrated morph in my opinion.

If you can find a nice pastel that's what I would do. I just got 2 pastels (1male and 1female) for $275.

A spider would also be cool. I wouldn't worry about wobble. I have a spider and his wobble is only apparent when he gets really excited. Even at its worst for him it isn't an issue at all.

I love black pastel lessers/butters as well as black pastel yellow bellies. I don't think there is any reason to rush, why not just buy a hatchling female of whatever you want and raise it up for a few years before breeding? They are much more affordable that way.

The only problem is that I only have two years before college, and already have a male who is 250+ grams. Trying to get a female of 500 grams is proving to be quite hard, since the only ones I can find under $300 are normals. Thinking of going with a 350 gram pastel, but I don't know if she would be ready to breed in a year. I love ghost/hypo black pastels, but that would mean two breedings, which I don't have time for.

In all honesty, if you are trying to rush I think you picked the wrong animals to breed

What are you planning on doing with the snakes when you go to college then...?
