    Re: Ringer?

A ringer will have a burnt orange around the white spots. It can be as minimal as a few scales up the side to a huge amount of white on the animal. But every time that I have seen or produced a ringer there has been the burnt orange coloration around the white spots. If I had any pics of them I would post them but I just got this computer up and running so I do not have any right now.
    Knowledge is earned not learned.

Heather's is subtle, but the thing that also gives it away as a ringer and not just a high flame is the orange that surrounds the ringerand in this case, extends onto the belly as well. The white speckles are not a ringer in my understanding. I'll post a picture of one of our het pied girls once I am home that has the same orange and a noticeable (but not to the extent of "low white pied") ringer near her tail.

Here guys! This is a full grown normal Het TSK Axanthic ball. Notice the odd patterning all the way around the body. It is a very different color and is very pixilated and instead of a white belly its very yellow...I hope this helps any confusion!! Ringers just show up. Kinda like a genetic mistake like a birth mark (as far as I know and have read about )

    Loads of balls around here

If you look towards the base of her tail, you'll see the burnt Orange color coming around her belly. That's her ringer mark.

I'll try to get a better pic for you tomorrow, if I remember :\
