Most kids your age and older are too busy being teens which is good to find time to care for herps. But it would be nice to see your generation become more invloved and passionate in herps but that usually comes from exposure which most o us know that locally herp owners are few and far between. Most peopl are raised with the wrong idea of herps and think of them as gross or the whole they don't love you back thing people always say. But jason you are our ray of hope for the you and sharing your love of snakeds and other herps. Hope I'm wrong, I really do. You can be young and have a teenage life and care for animals but again at that age parents play a big role in owning anything bsides a cat or dog. That's why I got my first at 25. But your awesome so share your love with your generation and show them how wonderful these animals are!

Edit: sorry for all the typos. Bad part abot phone blogging!
I know quite a few adults don't take care of their herps very well either, not sure it's always age related

Kudos to the young ones, good thread. I know I wish I was able to start my collection when I was 12, 13 or 14. I had to wait until I was 21 to get my first herp
