Can't imagine he perceives me as anything else....except maybe "Food Thing" or "Lap Thing".

    Ahem.

[hey...it's not like I hear voices, per se....it's more like pictures in my head]

    I've said too much.

    It works almost every time.

If I don't take him out, he gives up, goes back in his hide and flops his head down on his stone "pillow", emits a huge, over-done "sigh" of dejection and just stares at me, accusingly until I leave the room.

Dude, seriously... Norman (my male pastel BP), truly thinks he is a dog. And not just any ol'e dog, but like a lab or something that just is ok with anything that goes, loves to play with everyone, and is just a generally happy being...

I only have 4 snakes, so I don't have a large statistical pool to choose from, but Norman is absolutely unique in my 4 snakes. He is just so super chill, loves human contact, and seems supremely interested in everything that goes on outside of the snake world...

That look of "hey, whatcha' doin'" as soon as you walk into the room - how rare is that with snakes?
