I got this poor gecko from my bf he did take that much care from him, my bf had 9 geckos and sold them and kept 1 gecko so we thought he was lonely so then i took him to my place cause i have 3 more geckos that are perfectly healthy, and i think he's getting worse then before he has scars all over him, he barley moves, he's not eating and he flops around like a fish i need help asap

Welcome to "BALL-PYTHONS.NET"!!! A loss is never good, But looks like you knew he took horrible care of it. Enough to take it away from the geckos owner. The nonsence post for no one helping in 2 hours was not necessary. Theres so many kind people on here that over look that stuff, But if YOUR asking for something FREE cant be upset if it wasnt taken care of in your time frame. Im sure a emergency VET coulda helped... Ever heard beggars can't be choosers?

Now thats over we all make mistakes you only have 6 posts so easily can be turned around. Theres many helpful tips on here from previous posts and members. So enjoy for the future...

oh lol, well its okay he's in better place he suffered a lot and i just felt so bad and i thought it was a calcium thing so i put calcium on everything in everything and i helped him shed with warm water too

What type of calcium was being used? Did your boyfriend use calcium or no?

I'm sorry the gecko died. But sometimes no matter what we do for them, it's still too late. A necropsy would be a good idea to see what the cause of death was, but I also understand that it can seem like a big expense for a dead animal, though it might help save your others in the near future. Again, sorry he died

Its all good i had to keep them separated cause he was a new male and I already have two males so I didn't want them fight. but this girl at my work said that that same thing happened to her snake and there usually born with this thing i forget what its called but I'll ask and at a time in their life it will activate and its like a blood clog but you can't tell unless you see take them to the vet and get it drained, but he was at the end and my boyfriend told me that it was old too we got him off kijiji. but its okay thanks anyways for the information knowing that it wasn't my fault makes me feel a lot better.

I used the calcium you get when you buy a starter kite i have a big container of it lol and it could have been something he was born with and its not something the other geckos could get, or he could have been to old or it could have been anything i wasn't sure cause my boyfriend and i got him off kijiji. and thanks he was a good boy I'm just happy he's in a better place

didn't know there was such thing as a emergency vet, and my boyfriend only had him for two months and saw he was getting sick and thought id take more care of him we got him off kijij so you don't know what is going to happen or how old he was. yeah my comment was unnecessary but i think other people would be pretty pissed off seeing people online and getting no help i didn't know that was the end for him or i wouldn't have come on this site, it did help me sooooo much. thanks everyone who help me figure out what could have been wrong for future wise for my other geckos. thanks
