Hey guys,

I recently put my ball pythons back into their rack after a few weeks of hanging out in their PVCs. My Pastel Girl is near the top of the rack and when I was cleaning out her bin today she parascoped out to say hello. On her belly i noticed a brown spot where the scales were raised. I noticed the same thing on my Male pastel a few weeks ago but the affected area was much smaller so I didn't think anything about it. My Male has shed since and the brown area has disappeared. Im scared that the could be SCALE ROT??? which surprises me because i keep their bins very clean and check on them everyday... The only thing I can think of is that I have recently had my apartment fumigated and my snakes had to go live with my buddy for a while who kept them in his rack.. It was only for 3 days but could the conditions in this rack have effected her? All my other BP's don't have anything on their bellies. The other thing I was thinking was that I feed Live.. Is it possible that a rat could have scratched with is claws and raised all those scales causing them to die?

Here are some pictures.. what do you guys think??

Also do you think it will go away on its own with a shed like it did for my male?

Thanks Guys
