    Time to move up to bigger prey, I guess...

    My chubby bee folded his f/t weaned rat in half before swallowing it. He struck on the front paws and I guess he decided he wasn't going to reposition! My only regret is that my camera is packed up for the move. Seeing a rat face AND tail poking out of his mouth at the same time was something else!

    So, at 400g, should he be on small rats? The folded over weanling was a struggle, but he managed...so he should be ok to move up, right? He's such a good eater!

    That's about the size I'm usually moving them from weaned to small rats...

    Should be fine. I feed my 350+ smalls and its not a problem.
