Obsession

So I got my first BP almost 2 months ago, actually my first reptile/herp. I had no idea how quickly it becomes an obsession. If I'm not on here, I'm looking somewhere else to get as much info as I can about it all, bp's, rtb, and any other herps, especially snakes. How long did it take everyone else to become obsessed, because I know most of us here are lol

i've had my mojave for two weeks now and I have a black pastel on hold and will be picking it up this weekend as soon as I finish this...



Got the tubs yesterday and orderd the Flexwatt for it today!

I've always loved reptiles, but after I got my first bp-actually when I started planning to get him I became obsessed. That was just under a year ago and now I have 4 bps and 2 bci's

It helps that they're all in a rack, so they don't take up much space at all.
I have a few new balls coming my way also... the addiction never ends!

Lol, I feel like a late bloomer. I had my first BP for 5 months before I got my second one. It was the second one that started my obsession though and finding this site did me in. Since February I have added 23 ball pythons, 1 RTB, 2 Hog Island Boas, 1 Dumeril's Boa, 1 Kenyan Sand Boa, 6 cresties, 7 leopard geckos and 1 fat tail gecko (I think that's everyone). Some days I missed just having 1 ball python, but I love having a large collection.

I'm hooked and can't imagine life without reptiles any more.

I got my first bp just after Thanksgiving, and I've been living on the computer looking at morphs for sale and doing research (aka "dreaming") ever since! LOL It's pathetic. Now I want to start breeding, but the money situation and the fact that the husband isn't comfortable around snakes is holding me back. But I think I'm about to take advantage of a GREAT deal on a male Mojave hatchling.... Wonder how the husband will react....
