And my tubs only gets moisture on the sides when a snake urinates. It's my indicator to clean the substrate. So as long as there's no continuous moisture on the sides, its alright and safe?

Wonder why most people and care sheets say 50-60% then???

I live in Louisiana where it's pretty humid. Like you, no matter how many holes I put in their tubs, I cannot get the humidity even close to 50%. Needless to say I never have a low humidity issue, but sometimes it does get a little high. My humidity is averages between 60-65%. So far no issues with any of my animals since I've had them.
