i got a question for you i have a bp that looks similar to the second picture that you have i always assumed that i was just a normal bp with "brighter coloring", what did you cross to get a snake like that, and would it be considered standard or is it something else?

I'm attracted to the reduced banded bps so I've ended up with a few normals that look like that. The lemon pastel female I used for this clutch is more reduced in pattern than average, but nothing dramatic. I think that most of these reduced pattern snakes with brighter coloring are just simply pretty normals. If you could prove that that pattern is inherited in a predictable Mendelian manner (dominant, recessive, etc.), then that would be a little more interesting but not exciting enough in and of itself. I think it's cool to work with because pretty snakes make pretty babies and the possibilities with selective breeding are endless.
