My BP just had its first shed since owning him for 2 weeks. At first he started off with horrible shedding because my humidity was low. I use cypress mulch substrate and at the time it was super dry. Instead of spraying down the top, i poured a good amount of warm water all around the substrate. Also laid 2 damp hot towels on top of the tank lid and humidity shot up quick! Within a few hours i checked on him and i see inside his hide, FULL COMPLETE sheds.

I use cypress mulch also. Putting a towel over the top helps, but since I don't want to set it on fire with the heat lamp, some of the cage is uncovered and humidity only stays high for a couple minutes.
