Gotcha...she should be ready to rock and roll next year...

Don't tell my 1800 gram pastel male he's too big for the ladies or he's a lazy breeder! He's a stud and a half, and even though he's big, he's not fat. I expect him to get even bigger as the time goes by. As long as he's producing babies, I don't care if he's 3000 grams.

Yup. Our two best male breeders are both over 1,100g. Our 700g pastel won't have anything to do with the ladies, nor would our cinny, which was in the 800g range when we sold him. So if anything we have had better luck with larger males. All of our males are kept fit and trim, unlike our females which are usually quite robust.

Have you tried anything to get them in the mood?

You bet. He just doesn't seem interested no matter what we do. He just camps out in the corner farthest from the female. Our other males are certainly getting the job done this year, so I can only be so bummed. Just gotta be patient and hope he'll go next year.
