The downside is they will drop their tails sometimes and they don't grow back. They also like to lick water off of the leaves and cage walls so I mist mine nightly. I don't think they will always drink out of a water bowl.
Lol, i feel like they are meant to be tail-less in the long run. At first i thought they looked super weird without tails but now i like how they look without them
Misting is also a good idea, Im going to go do that now, thanks

FWIW all my males are "spazzes", and all my females are chill. I don't know if this is typical, but the spazzes have had a tendency to drop their tails. I do currently have two males with tails though, but I've only ever had 1 female drop a tail on me.

Interesting. About how long does it take before you are able to determine what sex they are?

If I remember correctly at about 8g you can usually start to see pores on males, but you need a magnify glass.

You can tell with the aid of an eye loupe (I'm waiting for mine to be delivered) from around 5-15 grams. After that they are pretty easy to tell the difference. Below is a link to some helpful articles about sexing cresties.

Lol, when I got my first one and was holding her at the pet store, she made it to the top of my head before I could stop her and I thought I lost her.
They really are amazing.

LOL, i was too scared to let him go that far, hes so tiny.
I've never seen such happy looking animals though, even my girlfriend who isn't a reptile person at all (or much of an animal person for that matter ) was wanting to hold him.
