Does hot glue mess up themostat probes?
Is it OK to hot glue thermostat probes? I have 2, my snake likes to climb on the suction cup for the one on the side of the tank, and knocks it off often. The other will be under the substrate and is a little wimpy suction cup so I don't think it will work very well.

Iv done it before for this VERY reason, they wont climb the limbs provided but they sure love climbinf thermostats. But its just glue so it doesnt really effect anything.

I didn't figure it would hurt anything but wanted to double check.

Don't put too much glue on. Some of the probe should still be "naked" and in contact with the glass or substrate. Glue can act as an insulator, so it could mess up readings if the entire surface is glued.
