    Cull....

    If you have mulitple females, you can foster them out, and very often have good results. I've had rats that were so far behind the rest of their litter mates that I thought for sure they wouldn't make it. Foster it out, and low and behold, I have food for a large snake several weeks later, instead of a snack for a ball python.... Not all of them are terminally sick. I save as many as I can, but of course, there are always a few that just don't make it...
    Of course, if they're really bad off, I cull them. As long as it's not just prolonging a slow painful death, I try to raise them up for food...

    thanks i will keep that in mind when i get more females
