Sounds like someone has a poop they need to let go...
Did she just eat?
I believe that sudden of a gain either means they just ate and have a full belly or they have some feces/urine they need to pass.

Yeah 60g is a bit much. My female since i've been weighing her seems to gain 20 grams 25 at most per week. Don't mean to hijack the thread but is 20-25 grams a week a good, healthy weight gain?

100g a month is a GREAT steady weight gain IMO
I have some snakes that grow like that and others that have only gained a few hundred in 6 months. (my picky eaters)

They can carry a couple weeks worth of poo
Digestion takes quite a while for a snake.
1400g is a good min weight for breeding. As long as shes 3 years old I would breed her. I take age into consideration before weight. Their bodies have to be able to withstand producing and passing eggs. I would never breed a female thats younger than 3 too much added risk that Im not willing to face. IMO
Im breeding a 3 yr old 1300g right now, hoping she'll lock.

I think the general consensus is 1200g, but the bigger the better!

Yup, the bigger and older the better, but you want a good mix of the two. That said, I wouldn't have a problem breeding a 2 year old that weighs 2,000 grams. Nor would I have a problem breeding a 4 year old that only weighs 1,300 grams. Now take a 4-5 year old that weighs 2,500+ grams. Oh yeah!
Males it doesn't really matter that much. As long as they are healthy and willing, have at it. Younger males I wouldn't work too hard, though. The yearling males I've bred I only ran through 1-2 females. Our bigger, older males I will pair with 3-4 gals and not think twice.
