When you say "I gave it to him good" and call him names here, that in NO WAY implies you calmly asked if he needed husbandry advice.
Now that people didn't agree with you, suddenly you were completely polite to him on youtube? Which was it? "Give it to him good" does not translate to posting advice politely.
My post to you was in HOPES it would make you think about jumping on someone for what they did without thinking it through from their point of view. This site is known for educating new owners especially if they aren't practicing good husbandry and bashing someone for doing something "wrong" is not educating them. It's driving them AWAY from good advice. If you wouldn't bash me for feeding a rat pup to a larger BP, why would you do so to some random youtube guy?
And AGAIN... you used the term that implied you flamed and bashed him, AND you called him stupid in your first post. And that is why readers here "assume" you flamed and bashed the guy, because you said you did.
Suck it up, dude. The "Gee, I'm sorry I guess I didn't think it through" is evidence you're a smart guy who isn't a jerk. I appreciate that you're not just a keyboard kommando who gets off on bashing folks online. I do.
Just understand, when you post here, and people disagree, don't try to say you didn't do what your first post says you did. Most people either haven't read to see the apology, or the apology wasn't posted yet, because several people were posting at once.
Again, I appreciate that you see you might have been wrong in the initial assumption. Takes a big guy to admit they might have been hasty in their decisions. *thumbs up*
Hope to see you posting more soon. Just duck your head down some...makes the rocks sting a bit less when they hit.
