cool, perhaps i will try! if you're using ceramic bowls, you could also stick the whole bowl in the freezer (kinda like a frosty glass when you order a beer in a restaurant) and then fill with cold water & ice cubes

This i thought of but the frozen bowl with frost could be problematic.
With just cold water and ice, the bowl slowly gets to temp which slowly drops the females body temps.
