From what I saw it wasn't yelling, it was annoyance of the fact that you were blatantly disregarding helpful and good advice.

As for the smart-aleck part, when asking for advice you need to lose the 'tude and learn to listen. Sometimes when people tell you the things you don't want to hear, or in a way you don't wanna hear, doesn't give you a right to curse them out or be rude back.
