I also use dog water bowls. I get them from the dollar tree. They get wider as they go down and there are no 'handle holes' so they can't get under them.

Re: how do you keep water bowls from flipping over?

    shallow, heavy dishes.

    i use these now

but the large are surprisingly still too small & i just got them this month but now i'm gonna have to order the x-lrg ones next month.

pigfat - i used the corner rock dishes too for that very reason but soon realized that the rock is so hard to just clean good enough (has to be scoured very hard just to try to get into the tiny cracks & nooks) & even being washed frequently wouldnt keep them from building up the yucky slime in 'em.

    my current collection

    1.0 better half
    0.1 mojave ball python (Nyx)
    0.1 Dumerils Boa (Hemera)

    0.1 dutch rabbit (Lucy)

Agreed. I use brule dishes. They come in various sizes and I've never had a water bowl tip. Ever. And they all match to keep my OCD under control I use the medium and large ones and keep many extra on hand for easy swap and cleaning.

    Regards,
