What comical photos, you are braver than I. Or else you have fewer cats.

Hah! Yes, this is the lucy who climbs walls.

I assume Noodle would be safe from cats in the tank? But I have only dogs, and Mr. Nibbles put the fear of ball pythons into them early on....

The best thing is I bet they sometimes lose "footing" and come crashing down, making a loud thunk? Ball pythons are so clumsy.
Mine does this all the time.

The room is quiet, and suddenly *thud

I was referring to the mixing bowl photo mostly. With 7 cats in my house, the snakes are never more than arm length away with the door closed, and never out of hand when in the same room as a cat/cats. I don't think any of my cats would bother them, they mostly get a very offended look on their face when a snake gets close, and then they leave. But I'm not taking any chances. It only takes a second for disaster to strike.

One of my old roommates got a kitten, and when it was about 8-10 weeks old it started getting really brave, sneaking up on my Ball and trying to bat her tail while I tried to throw him out. Since all she did was move her tail and slither away, he got bolder and bolder. One day he did that to my boa (she was around my neck and he snuck up from behind the couch in my room) only on the wrong end. She got him right on the top of the head; didn't even puncture the skin, but he yowled something fierce and booked it!! Needless to say he gave my snakes a wide berth after that.
