I just had my mother shut off power to my half of the house, including my snake room, to punish my sister. I told her I would take her to court if she caused the death of any of my pets (snakes, geckos, etc.)(Background information: this temporary situation is almost over, I'm moving out again.)
I feel your pain! Family can do crazy things.
