    Yeah, maybe some proof of how they were rude to you is in order.
    I have never dealt with Markus Jane before, but I have dealt with BHB a lot. Like others have said, Brian is a busy man and can be very hard to get a hold of. But I have never gotten even a remote vibe of rudeness from either him, nor any of his employee's I have talked to. Not only that, but when I visited him in June, I was there for at least 5 hours at least. He answered questions of all sorts, let my see any snake I wanted (Except Sunshine, she was in shed), and hell, I even got to see Satan.

    Have they been rude to you on multiple occasions, or did you just catch them on an off day and felt the need to complain about it?

    I'm certain that anyone can have an 'off' day, and perhaps the OP did have both of the breeders in question be rude to him, it just seems odd that he'd end up having two seperate folks that are normally nice and accomidating be rude to just him.

    Shrug. I don't find it RUDE of the OP to post it, not if they were rude to him. Just seems odd.

    Alright, the rudeness I received...

    I emailed BHB if it was possible that they except payment plans and what the terms were. Response: Lori, sometimes.... Why, what animal were you looking at?<--- that kind of response isn't even professional to me. IMO. Well needless to say I emailed back with the animal I was looking at and never heard a response. Awesome right?
    Its really just a problem with asking for payment plans with ppl. It's like they don't give a damn unless u email them saying:

    Wondering if _______ is available still because
    I like _______ and I have cash in hand.

    Ok sounds like you are just asking for drama. It is completely reasonable for them to limit what animals they want to do a payment plan for. Get over it. I'm sure they get lots of email from buyers they aren't serious and they have to protect them selfs from it

    Ok, why am I the bad person here again? It was a share ur experience type of thing. I don't expect a payment plan on a $75 pastel but really who has $500 -$750 to drop on animal right now. I'm over it, its just things like this that don't give people the right to talk to whoever how ever they want. Every matter should be tooken serious when it comes to business, but maybe that's just something I believed in?

    I'm sorry that you didn't have the best experience with BHB. While I know it is an excuse, but is it possible that the email was lost. Did you respond more than once? I know that it shouldn't be necessary, but I do know that they receive more emails a day than most people do in months. Like I have said before I have had great experiences with them. I'm sorry that you haven't.

    I think you are overreacting a bit. To me that is a perfectly reasonable response. Not everyone is overly formal when dealing with customers and honestly I prefer the people who come off as more friendly. You could have been more formal in your original e-mail and specifically stated what animal you were looking to buy and what payment plan would work for you. You would have gotten your answer much faster.

    I've honestly dropped $500 on a snake right away and I will be spending more than that on Sunday. That being said, if something is $800-900+ I have to do payment plans or save up for it. Starting a thread like this is going to get you some negative responses because both BHB and Markus Jane are well respected and have many happy customers.

    If you don't want people turning on you so far be up front in your original post and state why you think something or what happened to you and ask if anyone has had a similar experience. What you viewed as rudeness I see as a friendly response, so everyone will view things different. I honestly wouldn't want to work with a breeder who comes off as overly formal, but that's just me.

    People on forums can have strong reactions to things, and while this forum is spectacular.. it still happens. Especially when the topic starts with 'rudeness' or something somewhat dramatic, and I believe that everyone's posts built off of each other since you (the OP) didn't respond right away.

    Regardless, lets not turn this into an argument everyone. :] That's pointless and will derail the thread. Flaming someone who wants to share an experience is not a proper way to run things. C'mon now. But.. I can see why the reactions happened because of the lack of info.

    Anyways- that sucks, but I can see why they didn't want to have you do a payment plan, BUT they should have e-mailed you back.

    Yes I email a 2nd time. So by now I give up. I figured I was the only one getting a bad experience I just wondered if anyone else was too.
