Judy, a couple of people have suggested that but both snakes came from different breeders and they've both produced subsequent clutches without producing similar animals. The male I used was a fire that was a ringer as well. Champagnes seem to throw ringers, mom is just an extreme example. Also, the fire champagne I produced last year from different parents was a ringer as well. That's why I thought this breeding might give me good results...
