Don't get me wrong, database admins make good money, but you won't get a $100/hour job as soon as you finish school. You might want to look into the classes you are going to be taking. My best guess is that they are going to be teaching you SQL at some point since the most common database systems are Oracle and Microsoft SQL Sever and both of with use a version of SQL.
