    Re: bp's enclosure

we are brand new to this too and i'll tell ya, the people on this site have been GREAT at educating and advising us on the best ways to care for our new BP. you deffinetly need a thermostat or rheostat for your UTH. you can find them at most chain pet stores or on their web sites. we use a rheostat which is basically juts a high/low dial and it works fine. one member suggested reptilebasics.com and it is a great sight to find the things you need to set up a good habitat. they seem to have a little bit of everything. i am still learning every day. i think ive become a little obsessed. lol. my hubby says im just being thorough. ive learned over the last week DONT be affraid to ask questions here, people are very willing to help you figure it out. if you can, try to post a pic of his habitat and give a brief summery of his set up. ours has an open screen top, we sometimes use towels to cover it to help keep temps and humidity consistant. welcome fellow new comer and i wish you the best!

p.s. we should compare notes from time to time. lol
