those temps sound ok. i go for ranges now vs trying to keep the temps at 1 constant #. i keep my girl's cage at 90-94 warm/75-80 cool...most importantly though, you want your heat source be controlled by a thermostat of some kind but a dimmer could work too, on a temporary basis i think.
alot of people here use different things & all have opinions about other things but you'll ultimately need to decide what will work best for you.
do you have 2 identical hide boxes, one at each end so the snake will have a place to hide at whichever temp range it wants to be in? the reason for "identical" is so the snake is not choosing one hide over another sacrificing needed heat for security, which they'll do sometimes.
& then are 3 sides covered to ensure the snake doesnt feel too "exposed"? bp's are definitely not "display" animals.
