Good to know! What do you mean by photosensitive? I've read the section on them in TKG and the section on venom and bites. Where should I look for bite reports? Somewhere online? If you're not handling them how likely are you to get bit? I read something about slings dying a lot because of not being properly misted - how often do you mist yours? Have you heard anything like that? Any pokie specific information sources? I'm sure I'll come up with more.

You can possibly get bit durring cage feedings, cleanings, any time you open the lid, cage transfers, breeding etc.

The humidity is naturally high where I am. I rarely ever mist my P. metallicas but they always have a nice size full water dish at all times.

I have heard of the humidity issue yes. Mainly with avics and species that require really high humidity.
