Bringing the kids to NERD today.

My son calls it the mini zoo. I of course will be dreaming of all the possibilities that I can not afford.(sigh) Be that as it may, we always have fun window shopping when we go.

That was of course meant to be (bringing) the kids. I think I still spelt it wrong. Taking the kids.lol

I went last winter and I was drooling. So bring a rag. I hope the kids enjoy it, and be careful we already get snow so its prolly headed ur way if its not there yet
A room full of empty racks and thermostats that have been unplugged.

Have fun! I have lots of fun memories of my three separate week long visits there.

Ive heard alot about NERD and just checked the website, but just to clarify, is it open to the public for people to just walk in and check out? i saw they have a retail part but can you view the whole facility?

Kids had a blast, They took out this giant tegu for them to pat. It was also feeding time for a bunch of snakes/lizards. No pics, sorry, my camera is busted and I don't carry a cell worth squat. We got caught in the snow coming home. That's right people a snowstorm in freakin' Oct.

Sometimes I really hate being from New England.... but mostly I love it.

There's the retail part which in of itself is worth going for. I do this with the kids every few weeks.(They're 4 and 3). Then they have the tour of the facility which they do on Sat. and Sun. The tour is awesome. They bring you all around and take out some incredible animals.
