this is what I do as well. Leave them in the snake room and blow dry until there aren't any cold spots lol

Yeah, I find it as the best method for me. Just takes a little patience.

I remove from freezer and thaw in hot/warm water for 30 min or until it looks ready. Then I blow dry until dry.
Works every time for me.

Re: thawing methods?
I throw them in how water until completely thawed and warm. Then I blot them dry with a paper towel and feed from tongs. Works like a charm for me.

Re: thawing methods?
I put them in the fridge the night before. I remove them from the fridge and put them in warm water for 15 minutes or so. Right before I feed, I put them in hot water for a minute or two, blot dry with paper towel, and feed with tongs in separate tub. Never had a problem.

Re: thawing methods?
I had mice explode on me all the time when I first got my female albino BP but now I thaw in 2 parts. 1st in just warm tap water until the mouse is thawed and then 2 in Hot water from the tap on full hot to warm the mouse for about 30 seconds. Then dry the extra water off the mouse and feed it to my BP. She doesnt mind a wet mouse but I'm sure some would do to the divas that BPs are when it comes to food. Good luck.

Freezer to bucket. Bucket to sink. Fill with HOT water but NOT boiling water. Rinse and repeat until rats are soft and pliable the whole way through. Dry with paper towels. Stimulate some heat pits and BAM, ya got yourself a successful feeding. Very simple process, really.

Not to thread hijack, but a quick Q on thawing; I'm gonna be feeding FT soon(got 2 mice left to feed off) and right now she's on PK, but when thawing them out, could I possibly just leave the frozen mouse in my room(snake room as well) in a baggy or something at room temp while I'm at school(7-2:30 time total) and would that have it thawed out enough and not decomposing/stinking or something by the time I Get home to feed?
Or should I just put it in the fridge, let it thaw in there, blast with blowdryer or hold under lizard heat lamp for a bit.
(Do people use a separate blow drier than the one they use for their hair?)
