    He never had issues from it... I rinsed his mouth afterwards, of course. That, and I suppose I exaggerated a bit. By mouthful I mean just a small gob.

    personally I'd never suggest using any chemical (mouthwash or alcohol ect.) on a snake I'd just wait don't move and they will let go sooner or later. If you pull away you can damage the teeth as well. Time is the safest for the snake.

    I guess it all depends on what they latch onto, some areas are more sensitive than others.

    As for the mouthwash thing, use the brown listerine. The only thing in it that isn't natural is the alcohol. There is a thread on it on burmjunkies.com. It is very informative. X2 to the don't pull away. It will only make things worse.
